Fall protection for craftsmen

Lectus Safety sells fall protection to craftsmen who work on wind turbines or scaffolding. This is a very specific industry and the aim was to target decision makers in companies in the industry. Lectus Safety is a relatively newly started company, and therefore wanted to create brand awareness within this specific target group.

We advertised against business owners, decision makers and Safety Officers in craft businesses. We started by testing target groups, messages, videos and images to find the potential customers. Since products like these often have a long purchase journey, we prepared a Top-funnel, Middle-funnel and Bottom-funnel. Using this, we could mark people on their buying journey, even if they are at different points in it. If some had shown interest in the product, they were therefore presented with messages that would push them closer to a sale. We then began LinkedIn advertising, targeting specific job titles, skills and industries. People who entered the website from LinkedIn also entered a longer retargeting flow.

Results

Lectus Safety relatively quickly got a lead which turned out to have a value of DKK 400,000. for them. In addition, they succeeded in creating brand awareness, and their competitors contacted them as they were quickly seen as big in the industry. They got about 75 leads, some of which are already really valuable, while others may become interesting customers in the future.
